Since 2013, hundreds of senior youth & young adults ages 16-35 in the Lake Union Conference gathered together every other year with pastors, youth directors, ministerial directors, Conference presidents, and Union administrators to be empowered and resourced for evangelism back in their local churches and communities.

“Global Youth Day” (GYD) was launched on March 13, 2013. The vision of GYD is to recapture the reality of Adventist youth as a global movement mobilised for service, contributing to the proclamation of the everlasting gospel and ushering in the second coming of Jesus Christ. GYD takes place every year on the third Sabbath of March.
