Global Youth Day Conference Projects

Feed My Starving Children (SCHAUMBURG) 2:30pm - 4:00pm This is a great opportunity to serve others in different countries without the need of a passport. This outreach activity consists of packing food for different parts of the world. Because we are a large group we will be broken into groups to works as teams. Kids must be 5 years or older to be able to participate in this activity.

Refugee Shelter in PILSEN 2:30pm - 4:00pm Because of the unfortunate situation we are experiencing all over our city we are extending our hands to serve others. This outreach activity consists of serving 500 hotdogs and snacks to those in need. Along with the food we will also need help distributing clothing donations and literature. Singers are very welcome to join since we would like to be singing to them to maintain a peaceful environment. All ages are welcome to come, kids under 13 years of age are recommended to be accompanied by an adult.

Nursing Home (SENIORS/REHAB HOME) in Cicero, IL

Time: 2:00pm - 3:30pm

This outreach activity consist of having a small worship service (devotional and singing) with the residents at the retirement home. While they listen to the message and hymns there’s a group serving refreshments. The volunteers are needed to help serve and also assist with any residents who require special assistance. Also more importantly we will be offering to pray with them. Preferably ages 13 and up.
