Camp Meeting
Our next Camp Meeting is scheduled for Wednesday - Saturday, July 17 - 20, 2024.
The Illinois Conference Camp Meeting is an event open to members and non-members of all ages to enjoy a time of fellowship, relaxation, and communion with God on the campgrounds of Camp Akita in Gilson, Illinois.
We have programs and activities for each specific age group, beginning at 2 years old and older, facilitated by our own pastors and devoted volunteers. Activities provided cater to those who are seeking more adventure and those who are seeking more relaxation, including a zip line, horse-back riding, swimming, canoeing, and more!
Attendees are invited to commute, stay on the campgrounds in cabins, RV, and tents, or in a nearby hotel for the entire four days or a few days. You are welcome to have a meal with us in our cafeteria with delicious food prepared by Camp Akita's kitchen staff or have a more intimate meal with your friends and family in your own spaces. Just be sure to come back to attend the programs and activities we have planned for you!

Our activities are led by our wonderful camp staff and range from swimming to zip-lining and are only offered on Thursday and Friday.

Registration opens on Wednesday, May 1.
If you are planning on commuting, you do not need to pay for registration unless you plan to purchase meals from Camp Akita's cafeteria.
For those planning on staying in the cabins or reserving a space for your personal RV or tent, please complete registration. Please read the "more info" next to each ticket to make sure you are purchasing the correct ticket. Linens and towels are not included, but are available for rent.
