The Illinois Conference began its 10 Days of Prayer initiative Wednesday, January 8, in concert with the global denominational initiative. These meetings are being held at 7:00p in English and Spanish and feature prayer leaders who offer a short devotional before small groups form for prayer.

ILC President John Grys spoke to the English-language group while Hispanic Ministerial Director Ruben Bullon spoke to the Spanish-language group. Over 300 gathered in the two groups, including a few from around the world.

"We had a great prayer session. Awesome!" Modupe Hughes, one of ILC's area prayer coordinators wrote.

"It was a blessing for me," Pastor Willie Baez (Moline district).
