ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT POSITION  — There is an opening in the Illinois Conference office for an Administrative Assistant to the President and Vice President of Administration.  Applicants should be Seventh-day Adventist and have qualities that include intentionally pursuing a growing relationship with Jesus Christ, living a life of integrity and supporting and engaging in the fulfilling of the Illinois Conference’s mission and vision. 

Essential Job Functions include

  • Assist President and Executive Secretary in preparing documents and special projects.
  • Assist in planning events
  • Maintains schedules as assigned
  • Manage website and email accounts.
  • Communication Coordinator for the Illinois Conference.

Technical/Knowledge/Skills: Required: Acceptably completed Clerical Test. Preferred: Basic computer skills. Microsoft Office. Highly effective time management, verbal and written skills. Self-starter, collaborates well with leadership. Organized, people person. Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to hear and understand speech at normal room levels and on the telephone.
