ILLINOIS CONFERENCE OF SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTISTS

Devotional by Ray Pichette
 
One: President’s Report - Elder Pichette shared the following:
  1. On November 21, the first Illinois Church Planting Festival was held at the West Central Church.  There is a Spring Church Planting Rally being planned for the Spring of 2016.
  2. Elder Pichette shared about the many things to be thankful for in 2015, like the $20,000 grant received for Special Education and the $250,000 received in gifts from faithful members’ estates.
 
Two: Membership Report
60 baptisms and 5 professions of faith reported in October. Current membership is 13,628. The Conference has 99 churches, 19 companies and 3 groups.
 
Three: New Mission Group / Reach SDA Community
The Executive Committee voted to approve the formation of the new Mission Group, Reach SDA
Community under the leadership of Pastor Paul Korac.
